The following are the studio rules. Please read
them over with your child.
1. Students are expected to be on time for class.
If late, students are to join class with an apology
and without interruption.
2. Each child is allowed five (5) absences per year.
More than five (5) may result in dismissal or
transfer to another class.
3. Students must wear proper dance clothes and
shoes. Please refer to the dress code for details.
4. Students are to arrive no sooner than 30 minutes prior to their class and must be picked up no later than 30 minutes
after their class has ended.
5. All students under the age of 16 must be escorted into and out of the studio. For your child’s safety, do not assume
they will make it into the studio on their own or that the studio doors will be open
6. Only students are allowed on the classroom side of the divider wall. Do not lean or sit on the wall. (Infants should
never be seated on the wall.) The water cooler is for dancers. Do NOT walk through class to the water cooler.
7. We do not assume responsibility for lost articles. Please put your child’s name in every piece of clothing, shoes and
other articles brought into the studio.
8. No food, drink (other than closed water bottles) or chewing gum is allowed in the studio, this applies to students and
parents.
9. If you need to talk or if you have small children with you, please wait outside to avoid distractions to our dancers.
10. The school reserves the right to dismiss any
student at any time of the year for deliberately
breaking the rules or for disrespectful conduct.
11. Tuition: There are 40 dance classes and rehearsals throughout the dance year which breaks into 10 monthly payments
due the 20th of each month; August through May. There is a $10 late fee applied on the 1st of each month that a
payment is late.
12. Written notice must be received 30 days in advance of dropping out of any class.
13. Throughout the year there will be messages posted in the lobby. Please come in from time to time to stay current on all that
is going on at our school. Please keep us informed when contact information changes; including phone numbers and email
addresses.
***Classes will start on Monday, August 25th***
The schedule of classes will be posted in the studio window no later than Saturday, August 16th. It will also be emailed to you if we have your email address. Look for your name on the schedule to see the day and time your class will be held.
THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS:
HALLOWEEN - Friday, Oct. 31st
THANKSGIVING - Monday, Nov. 24th - Friday, Nov. 28th
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY - Thursday, Dec. 18th - Monday,
Jan. 5th
SPRING BREAK - Monday, March 30th - Friday, April 4th
" Teacher work days" are NOT dance holidays.

Leotards are to be worn in ALL classes. Two piece, shirt/pants
outfits are not to be worn. NO JEWELRY

Body Reshaping – (Adults Only) Required: Exercise mat and any comfortable workout clothing.
Boys
Acrobatics Classes - Tight Fitting Long Pants, Tight
Fitting Tucked-in Shirt, Bare Feet
All Other Classes - Dance Pants, Tight Fitting
Tucked-in Plain Shirt, Dance Shoes
All Students
Hair must be pulled back off the shoulders out of
the face. Hair ties will be available at the front
desk. A charge of fifty cents for the hair tie will
be added to monthly tuition bills.
Tight fitting Spaghetti Strap Dance Shirts may be worn OVER your leotard, NOT in place of a leotard.
** This does not apply to Pointe Classes.**
No T-shirts in Any Class
Improper attire: Students not properly
dressed will be asked to watch class instead of
participating. If you have a valid reason for not
having your dance clothes on a particular day, bring
a note from your parent to attend class.
***The teacher has the final say on questionable
dress. If you have any questions, please ask your
teacher.***
