Welcome to the Hanken School of Dance. My name is Theresa Hanken, I have been teaching dance in Winter Haven and Lake Wales for twenty five years. Each year is a new journey and I love teaching, creating and watching the students grow. I am so delighted that you have visited our web site.

Hanken School of Dance is proud to be serving the Lake Wales area for 16 years. We are a studio for everyone in the family. We offer Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Latin, Ballroom, Jazz, and Hip-Hop classes for ages 4 through adult. We believe in having fun and giving performances that are exciting and fun for our audiences. We're proud to have a family atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcomed.

So, if you want to get healthier, become accomplished in a particular style of dance, or just have lots of fun while getting to know other people and getting great exercise; you've come to the right place. Classes run from the second week of school through May; Monday through Thursday; after school hours. Our lobby is open for potential students to observe a class. Please call ahead and let us know what type of dance you are interested in and the age of the student. We will let you know the day and time of the class that would be the best for you to observe.
